Exhibition in New York - Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky: Pioneering Architect. Visionary Activist.


The Austrian Cultural Forum New York is organizing the first solo exhibition dedicated to Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky (1897-2000) in the United States.
The opening of the exhibition on March 11 2024 was a great success!
 
The exhibition, curated by Bernadette Reinhold (Senior Scientist, Art Collection and Archive, University of Applied Arts Vienna) and Stephanie Buhmann (Head of Visual Arts, Architecture and Design, ACFNY), presents numerous original drawings, plans and models as well as photographs and archival materials from Schütte-Lihotzky's extensive estate, which is kept in the Art Collection and Archive of the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
