MAK × MSL Centre – MAK on Tour: The Frankfurt Kitchen turns 100


This year we are celebrating 100 years of the Frankfurt Kitchen!
To mark the occasion, the MSL Centre and the MAK (Museum of Applied Arts) are joining forces to offer guided tours on this day. 

Programme:
  • 3.30 p.m.: Guided tour of the MAK
  • Followed by: Joint trip to the Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky Centre by public transport 
  • 4.45 p.m.: Guided tour of the MSL Centre
  • approx. 5.30 p.m.: End

Participation: 
  • Regular €34
  • Reduced € 32 (with MAK annual pass, students under 27, persons aged 65 and over or with a valid pensioner ID card, persons performing civil or military service, apprentices, persons with disabilities)
  • The price includes admission to the MAK, admission to the Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky Centre, and guided tours of both institutions. Exclusive ticket for Wiener Linien: If you do not have a ticket for Wiener Linien, please purchase one in advance.  
  • Meeting point: MAK Column Hall
  • To ensure an enjoyable tour experience, the number of participants per tour is limited. We therefore recommend booking the tour in advance to secure your place. 

At the MAK, you will gain an insight into the design of the kitchen, the finer points of its construction, and gender aspects. At the Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky Centre, the former apartment of Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky, you can visit her personal kitchen and learn more about the architect's life and work.
