The first Teatime at the MSL Centre in celebration of Margarete Schütte-Lihotzkys 127th birthday

The MSL Centre commemorated this occasion with a special event: the first Teatime!

The artist Uli Aigner presented the porcelain made especially for the Teatime and Renate Allmayer-Beck and Christine Zwingl from the MSL Centre shared memories and anecdotes about Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky.

The Teatime was recorded and broadcast online via zoom.

Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky was known to hold tea-hours in the late afternoon on a near-daily basis. When guests visited her, talks, discussions and black tea, served from turkish glasses, were customary. This wonderful tradition is now being re-introduced.
