80 years ago in March, in the middle of the Second World War, the Slovenian Anti-Fascist Women's Front (Antifašistična fronta žena) was also constituted in Carinthia in Eisenkappel/Železna Kapla. This was a significant event both for the resistance against the Nazi regime and a lasting impulse for the Slovenian women's movement in this region.
To mark this occasion, the WerkStattMuseum in the Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky Haus is opening an exhibition on the resistance of Carinthian Slovenian women and linking it with examples of anti-Nazi resistance by women from the whole of Austria.
