Heritage Day at the MSL Centre


Once again, the MSL Centre opened its doors to numerous visitors on Heritage Day and offered five guided tours of Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky's former apartment! We were delighted by the avid interest! 

 
On September 28, 2025, the Federal Monuments Office (Bundesdenkmalamt) invited visitors for the 30th time to discover and understand historical objects from new perspectives and experience their history up close, with free admission.

In line with the motto PRESERVE MONUMENTS, EXPERIENCE DIGITALLY, this year's focus was on digitization: from archiving and innovative research methods to communication, it opens up new ways of preserving cultural heritage. Technologies such as 3D scanning, high-resolution photography, and digital modeling enable precise documentation and analysis—and thus make an important contribution to the protection of monuments.
